Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Credit/Collections Specialist to join their team in California. This position is contract to hire and offers a dynamic opportunity for individuals with experience in credit and collections to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive credit analyses to determine customer creditworthiness.
  • Manage the collections process, ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer disputes and discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and communications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize outstanding debts and improve collection rates.
  • Provide detailed reports on credit and collections performance to management.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all credit and collections activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in credit and collections, preferably in a senior role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for credit and collections management.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 100% onsite with hybrid work schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in office).

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $30 to $36, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Details:

This is a temporary position with the potential for hire, ranging from 2-3 months _+
