Our client, a busy and well established estate planning law firm in Southwest Minneapolis, is searching for a full-time estate planning attorney to join our dynamic team. The firm seeks to hire passionate, motivated, goal oriented, organized problem solvers who have great interpersonal skills and a desire to help clients achieve their goals while providing an outstanding client experience.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide variety of functions to support the firm including (but not limited to):

  • Create wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, etc. for your clients
  • Discuss plans with clients for distributing their assets
  • Advocate on behalf of clients by understanding their needs, effectively analyzing the situation, and forming a strategy for a plan of action
  • Cultivate relationships with the firm's existing and future clients by maintaining consistent and timely communication
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, required
  • Must have an active MN law license
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of estate planning experience
  • Experience with dispute resolution, probate, elder law, MA benefits, special needs planning, or litigation a plus
  • Highly proactive approach to professional work and relationships
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Motivation to grow professionally, financially, and personally
  • No portables or existing book necessary
Compensation
$100,000 base salary + bonuses
