We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a client in Hayward. The role is with a health and nutrition services client. This is a temp-to-hire position. This is a 100% onsite position. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Job Duties:

• Coordinate with client lab to ensure that specifications are accurate before being sent for testing.
• Verify invoices match test prices.
• Manage and track QC tests after they are received and sending to the lab.
• Obtain PO's from accounting for tests.
• Coordinate tests.
• Be the internal point of contact to relay test results.
• File reports on QC.
• Communicate with vendors on tests and maintenance.
• Follow lab safety practices.
• Organize samples.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or Associate's Degree
• Chemistry background a plus.
• Strong MS Office and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
