Let's keep it Real ! You know me by now, I try to be a straight shooter with everything I do and say. So... I'm inclined to tell you something that was told to me to tell you ,so don't shoot the messenger ! Quit playing the lottery ! Thats Right QUIT, or at least TRY to quit ! Cold turkey if you can ! Let me ask you this, how many times did you win with it last year ? How much of a payoff for your return ? Lets do the math for a sec. ( lets start with a crazy number, $20 dollars a day), some people play with that much, we've all seen people who don't bat an eye when they pay for their bets ! However, whatever, lets take that fiqure and include the fact that some lotteries play on Sunday. Okay, heres the math facts : $ 20 x 365 =$ 7,300.00 Lets do some middle of the road folks : $ 5 x 365 = $1,825.00 Now here's some broke folks (want-to be's) : $ 2 x 365 = $ 730.00 I know, I know, for some to quit playing this "GAME", may be hard to do ! Like any addiction. That's what it is, with any addiction, there are withdrawal symptoms. Everywhere you look are reminders and signposts telling you to come play, this is your lucky day ! I'm not saying it can't happen, but....... What are your chances, your odds of winning ? Thousands and thousands to one !! Don't try to justify this with, " I don't play everyday, just every once in awhile" ! The odds remain the same, it doesn't matter. Chances are, you'll have fun ! Chances are you could have more fun with the 7 grand, you would have if you're one of the $20 dollar players, or the other amount players I've listed. If you made this one of your New Years resolutions, great ! However, remember you have made some in the past, and possibly slipped off the wagon before the month of January had ended, so think back ! You'll need some real help with this ! I'll go as far as to say that,some will need some professional help as well. Who can you really count on in the help department ? God ! Reach out to God ! God will help you with your Grand illusion into the "WORLD OF WANT AND DESIRE" ! Food for thought : If our new government shut down the lotteries immediately, the economy would do an about face ! Yes, Yes, Yes, ! Stats have already shown that lottery numbers are up and rising !
You both, and i know, that we as a people, spend more money than any others on holidays, clothes, cars and other materialistic things in the world of form.
We must stop the madness !
Lack of money and the mind-set of"lack" is going to slow some of this down, but look who suffers !
We, and our children as well !
For what ?
A pipe dream,with high odds?

I wonder what makes us think that anything, I mean anything that is computerized, can not be controlled ?
This includes the scratch off instant tickets too !
They know where they are putting those as well !
How many of us have been on the news who have won a million dollars for life from Abullah's corner liquor store in the ghetto ?
What school proceeds Brother?
With all the money thats been generated, there would be no child left behind !
All of them would be up and running !
Liars, Big Liars !
This is exactly why God is shutting down BIG BUSINESS !
God's in control !
If only we would follow the lead !

What's ironic is this : when we die, we can not take nothing, absolutely NOTHING with us ! Even the people we love !
I have yet to see a u-haul truck in a cemetary ! And if I did see one, it was passing through and taking a short cut to somewhere. rest assure God didn't hire it ! LOL !
So what's the bottom line ? I'll tell you, the ego and want= GREED !

LaDonna I'm glad you brought this subject up! The worse case I know of is an Alzheimer's patient on a fixed income who was addicted to playing the lottery. The sad thing about it is the lady never knew whether she had won or not. If she had won, it was futile because she could never find the ticket. When will we wake up, use the gifts that God has given us and trust that He will supply our needs? Madame CJ Walker grew up in poverty, was unable to read and write, and became the first black millionaire. Do you know how? She had a problem, she went to God and he revealed to her in a dream what to do. Madame CJ had enough sense to follow the directions and the rest is history. That's how our ancestors were able to thrive. What's holding us back now? Why do we have more faith in luck than in the God that is able to take an ordinary person like Obama and make him the president of the most powerful country in the world? Obama had a gift and his gift made room for him and brought him before great and small individuals who pushed him forward and said, "Yes we can!"

Everyone in the world plays an intricate part in the universe, thats how great each one is !
It was the will to live that made each one, WANT TO LIVE and desire to be born in the first place !
What happened to everyone, is what happened to your friend you mentioned. They all got amneisa, (they forgot when they learned words like, me, I and mine ), the ego was formed and they started to associate with forms of the world.
When we die, none of these things matter, they are either passed on to somebody else, or goes to the garbage world of form from whence it came.
So just as each one takes their last breath, guaranteed, thats when they will remember what they were meant to do while they were living. ( to create a better world for others as well as for themselves. An AH-Ha moment will occur) !
Things don't make you who you are, we make things.
Greed has the best of almost everyone.
I'm glad you brought up Obama too, Sister.
We have people angry and jealous of who he is, mostly Brothers ! ( aside from others, we already know about), But our people ?
What is that about ?
They need to stop dissing him and do something productive themselves.

Wow ! Marlboro's ? Okay Cowgirl Lady ! LOL !
First off, don't every worry about being in my debt, I'm one of those that is blessed for what I do and never look for anything in return because God works through me and I never go without ! Actually, I'm receiving my blessing right now !
Lets call smoking what it is, an addiction and a habit.
Like clockwork your mind has told you to want, and has instructed you, instead of you instructing it.
If you could replace that instruction, ( habit) ,with something else we are halfway home.
For now, find a jar to put the nastiest ciggarette butts in it that you can find. Put some water into it and put the lid on it and everytime you smoke put the butt into it.
This will fill up fast depending on how much you smoke.
Go to the store and get some chewing gum and old fashion cinnamon sticks. Pretend these sticks are ciggarettes. And chew the gum when you think about smoking.
Everytime you feel the urge, go to your jar, open it and smell it.
Take it in deeply and give it a serious look.( really get into the FEELING OF IT ALL !
Say to yourself and to God, " I have been poluting my temple God ! Please help me with this RIGHT NOW AT THIS PRESENT MOMENT " ! (remember to get into the FEELING part of this)
Put a tag on the Jar saying, "This is what I have allowed and has been poluting my sacred temple" ! "I WILL STOP DOING THIS "!
Beloved, you will have to work with God on this, with every ciggarette !
Keep opening the filthy jar until you can no longer stand it. Put it where it's a constant reminder.
The devil will try to urge you on with everything, ( loves to get the victory from God ), however everytime you give God the glory, God will continue to take the urges away and will carry you every step of the way.(GUARANTEED ) !!!
Keep me posted Beloved, do this in baby steps ,it can be done because, (and here are the words to pray ) "THY WII, WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN !

the money spent on lottery would be better spent if people invested in their own home-based businesses. i work with a site that starts at around $150 to start up. and the companies involved share the profits as you do the work.

I use to play the lottery years ago when it started here in Ca.There was this build up about money to help the schools. Well when it came time to get some air conditioners for some of the schools, you will never guess what the lottery commission said about the money to pay for the air conditioners. I will quote her word for word. She said, "WE do not know what happened to the money for the schools" That was over 19 years ago and I never even heard any thing about a follow- up on the subject.
I will buy a scrach off maybe every 5 or 6 years. If I will I just keep the money. If I don't win then I have told the truth as each time I by one I buy it with the attitude I am dedicating a$1 to the state.
Now LaDonna please get me to listen to you about stop smoking these Marlboro and I will be fore ever in your debt and honor you(smile) H-E-L-P

La donna, you may not believe this , but when I left my house today, I did not take my Marboros. I was gone for over six hours and did not smole any. I will do this each time I leave. I will not take any with me.
Next step no smoking no matter how long I have the computeer on. It has been on for about7 hours now. good start if I say so. As I am not a very disiciplined person.I tend to say, Oh. I will do it later. I would never be able to even look at that jar you precribed for me(smile) and passed on that one.
Thanks and love for listening to me. I thank you also for those less cigaretts I will be buying at this rate of my none smoking.
