If you are a victim of domestic violence, I beg you first and foremost to tell someone, anyone, even if it's a sranger. You Must let someone, anyone know what's going on. That person that you tell, may be the one to SAVE your life. NEXT, you will need a safe haven, believe me they are out there. You can ask any police in your town, they will direct you.You may have to start All over with your life but what could be worse ? Generally the one that abuse are cowards an very insecure people, they prey on people like you because they were able to filter your information early in the relationship and to assessment who you had that could possibly protect you when their inevitable rampage of emotions would surface. You were/ are vunerable then/now. They can only change themselves, you can not change these individuals. Each session that they have with you will get worse, like an addiction they need to increase the high of their emotional level of satisfaction and they are never satisfied. If you have children that are a witness to these sessions, they feel helpless and think this is a way of life, and therefore it lowers their self esteem. It turns out to be a victious cycle thats never-ending because they(kids) never forget and due to their lowered self esteem, abusive partners will seek them out like the law of attraction. Put God in your life, seek refuge and begin a new life. Know that there is nothing in it for you with this individual. So plan, plan, plan your GREAT ESCAPE and begin A NEW life. With Gods help......you can make it. peace, Doc.

P.S....(this is very, very important) When I said here to talk to anyone, someone, at best, CALL THE HOTLINE NUMBER ! These are trained professionals and will help you every step of the way. They will comfort you, listen to you, find that safe haven, help you plan your escape. And document that they have spoken with you.( If you are in a relationship with a police personel and they are abusive, ( this is a rare circumstance, but it does happen, some times worse ), talk to the hotline and make sure you mention that first.Because the police know where the safe havens are located. Good blessings to you and be careful, I've been there too !!!!!!
