"One Good Cry" Just 1 of those days... (537 hits)

Ever had one of those days when you feel like there's a weight on your shoulders that you just can't seem to shake no matter what you do?

Not the weight of the world but the weight of
"Your Life"!!!

Your problems, burdens, financial situation all come to light at one time and hit you like a wrecking ball full speed with the force of tearing down the foundation you've built.

Only to have you in a rut a state of feeling like a failure, like nothing you've accomplished is good enough for anyone or you for that matter.

All the positivity you've tried to hold on to seems to fly out of the window along with faith, trust, hope and the belief in yourself that you'll make it through like the many times you have before with the help of God.

Well if you have join the club I just had one of those days today. Yes even I go through those times where I feel like it's just too much to bear and just when I think I can't do it any longer someone from somewhere who cares about me gives me the boost I needed to help me see the light.

*****************************************************

"ONE GOOD CRY"

I couldn't sleep last night no matter what I tried;
Into that peaceful slumber I just couldn't seem to fall.
I tossed and turned, I prayed, I thought,
I wound up crying for no particular reason at all.

Then once I really thought about it
I knew exactly why
I knew in order cleanse my soul
I needed that one good cry.

I've been feeling like I'm failing
Things just aren't going right.
Failing my kids;
Failing to win the fight,
Just simply failing life.

I try to maintain a positive attitude
Filled with happiness and gratitude
Grateful to be living breathing
Blessed to be constantly growing healing.

Reality has a way of setting in
But I'm taking my joy back
I'm going to win

I've come too far to shatter into pieces
So I took the time to cry to cleanse and release
frustration and bitterness no longer reside in me
I'm back to rejoicing, loving and feeling inner peace!

I couldn't sleep last night,
no matter what I tried...
Then once I really thought about it
I had my one good cry!!!

The purpose of this is to share to feel to be...
to let everyone know that we all go through life's little ups and downs;
It's how we choose to deal with them and get back on track that truly matters in the end.

You know sis I don't write much only when something inspires me to do so and there use to be a time when I didn't share my writings but as I grew mentally and spiritually I learned that sharing things that can help others is a way of passing a blessing on. Maybe someone can learn something from what I have to say that could make a difference in their lives so I now pass it along.

Glad you can feel where I was coming from sometimes I feel like no one understands but I know better than that.
Crying is truly a cleansing it helps release all that built up pressure of life.

Everyone can relate to these types of moments, but they might not admit them. Thanks for sharing.

I think it keeps us in touch with reality when we recognize these types of days in our lives and address whatever is causing us to feel the way we do at that time.

Thanks for reading and understanding.
